Major bank chooses ImageStor to scan over 40 million records for quick retrieval of customer bank statements.
Over 40 million bank statements are now available for immediate search and retrieval. In addition, the bank is able to search for specific charges made to customers over the last 6 years and identify any over-charging.
The benefit to the bank is significant. Previously the bank statements were held on microfiche and for retrieval the cost of finding the microfiches, reading them to find the approrpiate statements and then printing them out was prohibitive.
